The Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail
For more seasoned hikers, the 100 km-long Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail is a must. It runs from Stava/Staben in Lower Venosta Valley through the lush vegetation of Monte Sole right up to the source of the Adige River at the Resia Pass. Hikers and nature lovers are sure to enjoy the hike with its spectacular views of the Ortles Mountain Range and the surrounding glaciers. A particularly interesting section of the trail lies above the Upper Venosta Valley, with glorious views of the Ortles-Cevedale Mountain Massif and the Stelvio National Park.
