The Mobilcard is your passe-partout, granting you free access to all public transport
in the entire South Tyrol with just a single ticket.
Mobilcard holders may use any of the following:
- the Venosta Valley Train and all other regional trains in South Tyrol as well as Trento (these trains are marked with an R on thetimetable)
- city and regional busses (City Bus)
- the Swiss PostBus service between Malles/Mals and Müstair (in Switzerland)
- the Renon, Maranza, St. Genesio, Meltina and Verano cable cars, the Renon mountain railway and the Mendola cable car
Mobilcard can only be utilized by the authorized holder and is not transferrable to other persons. The ticket must be validated either prior to boarding (if the journey is by train), or at the start of each ride, without requiring the holder to specify the destination. The Mobilcard is valid for three or seven consecutive days starting from the first day of utilization, the date and time of which is stamped on the ticket by the validating machine, as well as the expiry date. Children under the age of six years old, prams, baby strollers and luggage are all free of charge. An all-day ticket includes carriage of a bicycle. Taxis and group transport rentals are not covered by the Mobilcard.
As from 2016, the Mobilcard must carry the user’s name. The Mobilcard is only valid if it bears the name of the user.
From 8th to 11th December 2016 the section Malles/Mals - Silandro/Schlanders
of the Val Venosta/Vinschger train is interrupted by reason of the works on the electrification of the train. It's organised a rail replacement service
