The Merano/Meran Fishing Club has fishing rights for the Adige/Etsch River, from the outflow of Lago di Muta/Haidersee to Töll River with its inflows. In addition, the fishing rights comprise approx. 7 km of Passiria/Passer River near Merano/Meran, which results in a total length of 150 km of flowing waters and one artificial lake. Typical fish for these waters are the marbled trout, the brook trout, the rainbow trout, brook char and grayling.

One-day fishing permits are issued for the following water sections:

• Adige/Etsch River from the outflow Lago di Muta/Haidersee to the bridge in Spondigna/Spondinig
  all bait types, but only with single hook
• Adige/Etsch River from the bridge in Spondigna/Spondinig to the village bridge in Lasa/Laas
  all bait types, but only with single hook
• Adige/Etsch River wooden Holzbruggbrücke bridge to Tisser bridge in Coldrano/Goldrain
  artificial flies and spinners with single hook
• Adige/Etsch River from the village bridge in Coldrano/Goldrain to Tieftal near Laces/Latsch "catch and release"
  artificial flies without barbs
• Adige/Etsch River from Tieftal below Laces/Latsch to the inflow of Senales/Schnals River
  all bait types, but only with single hook
• Rambach from Calven Bridge to the inflow of Adige/Etsch River
• Solda/Sulden River from the source to the inflow into Adige/Etsch River
• Puni River – underflow from Malles/Mals to the inflow of Saldur River
  up to 3 fish allowed, artificial flies and spinners with single hook
