The side valleys of the Holiday Area Resia Pass, such as the idyllic Val Roja/Rojental valley or the Vallelunga/Langtaufers valley at the foot of the mighty Ötztal Alps let the hearts of real ski tourers sing. Slopes in all exposures and unspoilt nature guarantee beautiful experiences away from the ski runs.

Popular destinations in Roia/Rojen are the slightly easier Äußere Nockenkopf mountain, the more challenging Grionkopf peak in the furthermost area of Val Roja and many more. Whereas in Vallelunga, skitourers enjoy the tour to the Großer Schafkopf mountain or Glockhauser mountain, both at southern slopes. There is a whole string of summits also on the north side, with and without glaciers. High above S. Valentino/St. Valentin towers the Seebodenspitze peak, a worthwhile destination.

Experience, local knowledge, equipment and information on weather conditions are essential. Aspiring ski tour participants can therefore join one of the numerous tours offered by South Tyrol's experienced mountain guides.
