Running in the Resia Pass Holiday Area

Running Trails around Resia Lake

Running in the midst of a fascinating landscape at an ideal altitude of between 1,470 - 1,950 meters, is a memorable experience. Around Resia Lake , there is a well-marked and varied 14.5 km running track leading through the mountains, with fantastic views en route. Those who want to start the day in a slightly more relaxed manner can walk 5.3 km along the nature trail around the lake of S. Valentino.

For those keen on jogging, there are as many as 12 tracks of varying length and difficulty levels in the Resia Pass holiday paradise. Runners can also combine different tracks to create an itinerary according to their individual needs. The main annual event is the race-walking championship, known as the Resia Lake Tour, organized by the Rennerclub Vinschgau association in July.

Information and other material concerning the running tracks can be found at the tourist information offices in Resia and S. Valentino alla Muta
