Cycling in the Resia Pass Holiday Area

Cycling Paradise on the Border with Austria and Switzerland

The varied landscapes of the Resia Pass holiday area provide the ideal destination for cyclists from all over the Alps. The easier rides along the bottom of the valley are just perfect for recreational cyclists and for all members of the family.

Cyclists have much to enjoy and the 80 km-long downhill bike path along the Adige River is very popular, following the Via Claudia Augusta
, the old Roman trade road from Resia at the source of the Adige all the way down to Merano.

The bikemobil Card allows the holder free use of all public transport in South Tyrol as well as bicycle rentals. More information is available at: www.suedtirol-rad.com

Bike Shuttle
From early April to late October, the bike shuttle-service is available from selected starting points in the Val Venosta.
