The Venosta Valley is the original homeland of the Haflinger horses, which were first bred in Sluderno/Schluderns. The local riding stables are varied and offer many opportunities: children can learn how to handle horses, beginners can learn basic knowledge about these noble animals and about riding and can practice on the course, and experienced riders can go for relaxing rides across the fields and forests.

Passionate riders can go for exciting tours through the surrounding Alpine nature. Families and groups can enjoy relaxing carriage rides through the valley. Experienced riders can go horseback riding through meadows and forests, or take exciting riding tours through the Alpine nature. In winter, horse-drawn sleighs entice guests to enjoy romantic rides through the snow-covered forests.
