Mountain Biking

Mountain Biking in Venosta Valley

Biking on the Sunny Side of the Alps

Cycling holidays in South Tyrolmountain bikers, downhill cyclists, freeriders, enduro cyclists and all-mountain cyclists, will find an extensive network of more than 80 marked trails in Venosta Valley. Some of the Single Trails are ideal for beginners, while others are more suitable for passionate, experienced high-altitude mountain bikers.
Venosta Valley has many sunny days due to its dry climate, and mountain biking is therefore possible from mid March to the end of November. The winding trails lead through the forests and mountains and offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and high peaks. Along the way there are many places to stop for traditional local food.

The MTB-routes in Venosta Valley are planned according to the MTB guidelines and are uniformly signed. Also, the entire valley - from Resia/Reschen pass to the Oetztal mountains – is covered by GPS.
