Lift Facilities in Prato allo Stelvio and Environs

In South Tyrol with its steep valleys, funiculars and cable cars are part of the means of public transport, just like railway or bus lines. Close to Prato allo Stelvio, there are several cable cars and ski lifts leading to the Monte Sole and Monte Tramontana mountains, such as the cable cars and chairlifts up to Solda and Trafoi, while another leads up to the Watles ski area. In spring and late autumn it is also worth visiting lower Val Venosta, where cable cars lead up to the Texel Group Nature Park.
