Climbing on man-made walls on or waterfalls frozen to ice is not just the preserve of extreme, thrill-seeking Alpinists. In the Ortles region, experienced climbers and newbies alike will find a range of great spots for experiencing the magic of this challenging winter sport.

Adventurous ice climbers can climb at the man-made ice tower in Solda/Sulden, at frozen waterfalls (such as at the Legerwand) or directly on the massif itself. Here, holidaymakers can experience the magic of the frozen wall alone or with a mountain guide.
