Prato/Prad, the gateway to the Ortles region and the Stelvio National Park, lies on a lush, sunny valley plain 900m above sea level. The surrounding mountains, forests and meadows are popular destinations for ramblers, mountain climbers, mountain bikers and racing cyclists.
