The Adige River, the second longest river in Italy with its source in the Resia Pass, flows through Venosta Valley to Bolzano and Verona eventually out into the Adriatic. When the snow starts to melt at the start of summer, rafters can participate in one of their preferred water sports, according to the preferences both of the grownups as well as smaller water cowboys.

Various clubs organize dinghy trips for families with children on the young Adige river.
