From Laces we drive to Prato allo Stelvio, the start of the Stelvio Pass Road twists and turns in tight serpentines and more than 48 hairpin bends before we reach the Stelvio Pass at a lofty height of 2.757 meters.

It connects the Venosta Valley with Bormio in Lombardy and is the highest mountain pass in Italy. We continue towards Bormio at 1.225 meters and to the Foscagno Pass (2.291m) that connects Bormio with Livigno. Livigno (1.816m) enjoys a special tax status as a duty-free area and is known as a winter sports resort.

We reach the Venosta Valley trough the „Munt la Schera“ (the toll charge per motorbike is not included in the tour price) tunnel and the Fuorn Pass (2.149m). The historic town of Glorenza with its 900 inhabitants is one of the smallest towns in the world. This gem of the Upper Venosta Valley has a medieval centre and boasts the only intact enclosed fortification, complete with fully preserved ramparts and picturesque gate towers.
