Culinary highlights throughout the year

 
In spring you can look forward to asparagus time in lower Val Venosta/Vinschgau. When summer arrives it is time for apricots, cherries and fresh strawberries in Val Venosta/Vinschgau. The legendary apples from Val Venosta/Vinschgau were once exported to the emperors' residence in Vienna and even to the tsar's court in S. Petersburg. Vegetables and herbs from our own garden accompanied by a tender brook trout: the perfect culinary result.

In early autumn game and mushrooms can be found on every menu. In late autumn it is time for "Törggelen": traditional food like dumplings and cabbage, juicy pork and homemade sausages with a glass of "Suser" (new wine) and chestnuts and doughnuts to finish off the culinary experience.
