Farm Consortium

Farm Consortium in Venosta Valley

Venosta Consortiums and Yard Sales

In order to sell their own organic produce, committed farmers of Venosta Valley have decided to join open farm consortiums, where high-quality products are sold at a fair price. One is located below Juval Castle near Castelbello/Kastelbell, and another in Upper Val Venosta in Malles/Mals and at the farm store Trafoier below Churburg Castle.

In these consortiums a wide range of farm and dairy products are sold, such as old-style marmalade and organic bread, traditional sausages, dairy cheese and herbal teas, first-class fruit, juices, vinegars and some of the most excellent and awarded wines of Italy. Moreover, in recent years it has became popular to produce high-quality textiles such as straw hats, traditional clogs and more. These products have their price, but are purely hand-made and long lasting. In addition, regional products are usually offered at the farms themselves, in the form ofyard sales.
