The Alpenwall: a Stone Symbol of Time

The exhibition in Bunker Complex number 20, located in the municipal area of Curon/Graun, tells the story of the military bunkers and the Alpenwall during the years 1936-1942. An extensive line of defence was created along the frontier at the Resia/Reschen as protection against an invasion from allied Germany. The defence line is still well preserved in the border village of Resia/Reschen.

Visitors who are interested in history can visit the military structures of that period. They will find an impressive underground maze with illuminated displays.
